Daniel Janke

Bio:

Daniel Janke is a composer, writer, and media artist based between Yukon, Canada and Berlin, Germany. His practice as a musician focuses on free improvisation, jazz, and new music, with his early influences grounded in gospel and roots music. Janke has composed for new music ensembles, orchestras, and film and television; and has worked as musical director on numerous theatre, dance, and multimedia stage productions. Janke has also produced and directed television series and documentary films, and is the founder of the production company Northern Town Films.
