Bio:

Makoto Shinohara was a Japanese composer. His orchestral and electronic works were known for combining elements of Western and Japanese traditional music. In the 1970s, Shinohara was a visiting professor at Simon Fraser University, influencing the electroacoustic music scene in Vancouver.
