Jamie Reid

Bio:

Jamie Reid was a writer, editor, and organizer whose practice was based in Vancouver, Canada. A founding editor of TISH magazine, Reid’s work spanned poetry and cultural criticism. After joining the Communist Party of Canada, Reid took a twenty-five year hiatus from writing in favour of political activism. He later returned to writing with a focus on jazz.
