Shawna Dempsey

Bio:

Shawna Dempsey and Lorri Millan are a performance art duo based in Winnipeg, Canada. Their practice addresses lesbian and feminist themes in a variety of media, including film, video, live performance, publications, and public art projects. Dempsey and Millan make frequent use of comedy and costumes to create narratives that parody what is culturally sanctioned as normal and legitimate.
