Robert Hogg was a Canadian poet, educator, and organic farmer. While attending the University of British Columbia in the 1960s, Hogg was closely associated with the poets involved in TISH magazine. Influenced by the work of Charles Olson and Robert Creeley, Hogg published five books of poetry and six chapbooks, and appeared in numerous periodicals. His practice was largely based in Ottawa, Canada where he taught American and Canadian poetry at Carleton University for thirty-eight years.
