Bio:

Mercedes Eng is a prairie-born poet of Chinese and settler descent based on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ Nations (Vancouver, Canada). She is the author of Mercenary English (2013), Prison Industrial Complex Explodes: A Poem (2017) and my yt mama (2020).
