Adrian Piper
Bio:
Adrian Piper is an American conceptual artist and Kantian philosopher based in Berlin, Germany. Much of Piper’s work deals with issues of racism and racial passing, and uses traditional and non-traditional material to provoke self-analysis, often reflecting on her own career as an example. She directs the Adrian Piper Research Archive.
