Jaime Adams

Bio:

Jaime Adams an artist based on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ Nations (Vancouver, Canada). Her land-based photographic practice is influenced by her volunteer work in habitat restoration at Maplewood Flats in səl̓ilwətaɁɬ territory, and often incorporates plants and waters from the areas to develop and alter her work. She is the founder of Forest and the Femme Society, a non-profit outdoor program connecting marginalized women living in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver with nature.
