Peggy Baker

Bio:

Peggy Baker is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in Toronto, Canada. She was a founding member and artistic director of the dance company Dancemakers, as well as her own company, Peggy Baker Dance Projects. Baker is the laureate of the 2009 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, a member of the Order of Canada, and recipient of honorary doctorates from the University of Calgary and York University.
