Janice Toulouse

Bio:

Janice Toulouse is an Ojibwe artist and educator based in Sault Ste Marie, Canada. A member of Garden River First Nation, Toulouse’s work honours her Anishinabee ancestry through paintings that centre storytelling and Indigenous worldviews. Toulouse previously taught painting and Indigenous art history at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
