Kajola Morewood

Bio:

Kajola Morewood is an artist based in Vancouver, Canada. She has Inuit ancestry through her birth mother who comes from Kuujjuarapik, Nunavik. In her practice, she uses traditional materials to explore issues of cultural connection and the ways in which Indigenous knowledge and belongings are held in Western cultural institutions.
