Bio:

Victor “Bud” Doray was an artist who was based in Vancouver, Canada. He was the founding director of the Department of Biomedical Communications at the University of British Columbia, which was the first department in the province that combined the talents of medical artists, photographers, television, and audiovisual personnel to serve the needs of the health sciences. In the 1980s, he left the field of medicine to devote himself to his artistic practice.
