Alessandra Capperdoni is a scholar based in Vancouver, Canada who teaches in the Department of Global Humanities at Simon Fraser University. Her interests lie at the intersection of poetics, avant-garde writing, psychoanalysis, and writing informed by the practice of translation, especially in the areas of feminism and transculturalism. Her work focuses on post-1960s Canadian poetics in the context of the social imaginaries shaped by the convergence of nationalism and globalization, as well as women’s avant-garde writing and feminist phenomenology in Canada.
