Parnian Anaa

Bio:

Parnian Anaa is a multidisciplinary designer, activist, researcher, and athlete based in Vancouver, Canada. As a refugee migrant in 2015, Anaa’s embodied experience of diasporic pain has deeply rooted her creative practice in social and ecological justice. She believes in (literally) moving to understand, and defines her work as an ongoing thread of entangled creations, material exploration, performance, and storytelling. Recently, she has expanded her work into financial advising, aiming to bridge the gap between creative communities and financial literacy. She advocates for accessible knowledge, believing empowered artists deserve the tools to sustain their work, autonomy, and futures.
