Jean Derome

Bio:

Jean Derome is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and improviser based in Montréal, Canada. Primarily a saxophonist and flutist, Derome is recognized for his key role in the development of the Quebec avant-garde movement musique actuelle. Across his experimental practice, he has composed graphic scores for large ensembles, created multimedia works for string quartets, and devised music for dance, theatre, and cinema works.
