Eleanor Antin

Bio:

Eleanor Antin is an American artist and filmmaker whose practice blurs the lines between art, performance, and theatre to explore history, contemporary culture, and identity from a feminist perspective. More recently, Antin has been producing large-scale photographic tableaux that reflect on themes such as environmental destruction and modern warfare. Much of Antin’s work engages serious subject matter while being marked with wit and humour. Antin is represented by Richard Saltoun, New York.
