Richard Purdy

Bio:

Richard Purdy is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Quebec, Canada. Since the 1970s, his practice has involved performance, dance, installation, video, painting, text, public art, and sculpture. Throughout his practice, fiction and architecture—particularly sacred forms such as Buddhist stupa—have emerged as recurring themes. He is represented by Galeries Roger Bellmare and Christian Lambert, Montréal.
