Rudolf Komorous

Bio:

Rudolf Komorous is composer, musician, and educator from Prague, Czech Republic, based in Victoria, Canada. In the 1970s, Komorous founded the electronic music studio at the University Victoria, where he also taught composition and advanced theory and served as the director of the School of Music. Komorous later became the first director of the School for Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University. In his musical practice, he has composed works for orchestras, solo instruments, and chamber ensembles.
