John Chowning
Bio:
John Chowning is an American composer, musician, and educator whose work focuses on digital sound spatialization and computer-sound synthesis. While at Stanford University in the 1970s, Chowning founded the Centre for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics and developed FM synthesis.
