William Everson

Bio:

William Everson was an American poet, literary critic, educator, and handset printer based in the Bay Area. In the 1950s, Everson rose to prominence when he was identified with the Beat poets. A deeply serious and religious writer, Everson spent eighteen years as a Dominican monk and published many of his works under his name in religion, Brother Antoninus.
