Nicolas Bourriaud

Bio:

Nicolas Bourriaud is a curator and critic based in Paris, France. He has previously held positions at Montpellier Contemporain, École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, and the French Ministry of Culture. Bourriaud is the author of the landmark publication Relational Aesthetics (1998), where he is recognized for coining the term “relational art.”
