Lydia Kwa

Bio:

Lydia Kwa is a poet and novelist born in Singapore and based in Vancouver, Canada. Her work explores themes of grief, diaspora, identity, and family systems, often reworking classical Chinese tropes through contemporary perspectives on gender and feminism. Her writing frequently engages magical realism, history, and the experiences of women of colour. Alongside her literary practice, Kwa is also a practicing clinical therapist.
