Clive Robertson is a performance and media artist, curator, critic, musician, and educator based in Kingston, Canada. Since the 1970s, Robertson has acted as an advocate for national cultural policy within the artist-run centre movement and has directed interdisciplinary project spaces in Calgary, Toronto, and Ottawa. He was the founder of the artist magazine Centrefold, which became Fuse: A magazine on art, media and politics—a formative platform for critical art discourse across print, sound, and video. In 2025, Robertson was awarded the Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts.
