Liz Magor is an artist based in Vancouver, Canada who works in sculpture, installation, public art, and photography. Using traditional mold-making techniques, Magor creates uncanny replicas of everyday objects in combination with found ephemera to address themes of history, shelter, and survival. Consistent throughout her practice is an experimentation with traditional sculptural elements such as mass, volume, and weight, mixed with a slightly sardonic humour. Magor is represented by Catriona Jeffries, Vancouver.
