Bio:

Marusya Bociurkiw is a filmmaker, writer, scholar, and curator based in Toronto, Canada. She explores feminist and queer archives, activism, and migration in her films and publications. She is the founding director of The Studio for Media Activism & Critical Thought at Toronto Metropolitan University and is a professor emeritus.
