Aiyyana Maracle

Bio:

Aiyyana Maracle was a Haudenosaunee multi-disciplinary artist, activist, theatre director, scholar, and educator. She is known for her contributions to the Indigenous performance art community. Maracle was best known for her performance and installation art pieces. Her work dealt with a range of issues, from Indigenous land claims to trans identity.
