Description:
Why Choir is a duo made up of Roxanne Nesbitt and Ben Brown, based in Vancouver, Canada. Why Choir investigates reverberant spaces, resonant sculptures, and the pitched mundane. Their improvised performances use a wide and wild range of sonic tools and treatments—including drums, strung floor tom, voice, electronics, upright bass, and Nesbitt’s handmade ceramic percussion instruments.
