Meredith Bates

Bio:

Meredith Bates is a violinist based in Vancouver, Canada. Pushing her classical training outward through extended techniques and electronic experimentation, Bates’s work features ambient and electroacoustic compositions inspired by our relationship to one another and our surroundings. She records and performs internationally as a member of several ensembles, and has participated in numerous solo and collaborative projects.
