Vanessa Kwan

Bio:

Vanessa Kwan is an artist, curator, and producer based on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Sel̓íl̓witulh Nations (Vancouver, Canada). They write, speak, and publish on public art and cultural work with a focus on collaborative, site-specific, and cross-disciplinary practices. Kwan is the Director + Curator at Libby Leshgold Gallery at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and has held positions at Powell Street Festival, Access Gallery, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Vancouver Art Gallery, Other Sights for Artists’ Projects, and grunt gallery.
