Sam Shalabi

Bio:

Sam Shalabi is an Egyptian-Canadian composer and improviser based in Montréal, Canada. Beginning with punk rock in the late 1970s, his work has evolved into a fusion of modern Arabic music that incorporates traditional Arabic, shaabi, free improvisation, jazz, experimental, noise, and classical music.
