Salomé Voegelin is an artist, writer, and researcher based in London, England. Voegelin’s practice engages listening as a socio-political practice, and takes participatory, collective and communal approaches to exploring the embodied and environmental possibilities of sound. She is the author of Listening to Noise and Silence: Towards a Philosophy of Sound Art (2010), Sonic Possible Worlds: Hearing the Continuum of Sound (2014), and The Political Possibility of Sound (2018), in addition to numerous essays and text-scores for performance and publication.
