Steffani Jemison is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York who uses time-based, photographic, and discursive platforms to examine "progress" and its alternatives. With Justin Hicks, she performs as the duo Mikrokosmos—a project that mines the history of Black music through collaborative interdisciplinary research.
