Justin Hicks

Bio:

Justin Hicks is a multidisciplinary artist and performer based in Brooklyn, United States. His work explores identity, economics, marriage, labor, and religion in compositions and performances that range from singer/songwriter-style presentations, recordings, and sound installations; to collaborative works involving movement and set design. With Steffani Jeminson, he performs as the duo Mikrokosmos—a project that mines the history of Black music through collaborative interdisciplinary research.
