William J. O’Brien is an artist based in Chicago, United States. He works in drawing, painting, ceramic, metal sculpture, installation, and assemblage. His multidisciplinary practice is a search for identity and genuine expression through material and process. O’Brien is a professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
