Description:

Gamelan Gita Asmara is an ensemble that performs traditional and contemporary Balinese music on a uniquely tuned set of instruments made up of bronze metallophones, gongs, cymbals, drums, and bamboo flutes. The group was founded by composer and ethnomusicologist Michael Tenzer.
