Bio:

Vera Manuel was a playwright, poet, and dramatherapist from the Secwépemc-Ktunaxa (Shuswap-Kootenay) First Nations. Her practice explored the relationship between storytelling, writing, healing, and performing. She was the founder and director of Storyteller Theatre, a production company focused on amplifying voices of Indigenous artists working across theatre, movement, and storytelling.
