Shamina Senaratne
Bio:
Shamina Senaratne is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada who works primarily with fibre, mixed media, and text. Her practice explores how we witness and narrate the world, intercultural interaction, and questions of identity, self, other, and community.
Western Front is a non-profit artist-run centre in Vancouver.
We acknowledge the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations as traditional owners of the land upon which Western Front stands.
