Zachary Cameron Longboy

Bio:

Zachery Cameron Longboy is an artist born in Churchill, Canada of Sayisi Dene descent. Recognized as a key figure in the emergence and development of contemporary Indigenous performance-based video installation, his work often combines elements of spoken text, sound, and sculpture. As a White-adopted/Native gay/Two-Spirit/Sixties Scoop survivor, Longboy’s hybrid identity is often the departure point for his multidisciplinary work.
