Jim Pomeroy

Bio:

Jim Pomeroy was an American artist who came to prominence in the Bay Area conceptual art scene of the 1970s and 1980s. Exploring the intersection of art and technology, Pomeroy’s work was greatly influenced by his lifelong fascination with popular mechanics, informal science experiments, garage inventions, and DIY technology. His practice spanned performance, sound, photography, installation, sculpture, new media, and video.
