Maxine Proctor

Bio:

Maxine Proctor is a writer, curator, and editor based in Saskatoon, Canada. She is the Managing Editor of BlackFlash magazine, and was a director/co-founder of the Toronto Art Book Fair from 2016 to 2018. Dedicated to contemporary art, her research interests include artists’ publishing, animals in the Anthropocene, the Canadian prairies, and how capitalism informs our capacity for compassion and communication.
