Ant Farm was a multidisciplinary collective based in San Francisco, United States. Embedded within the counter-cultural milieu of the Bay Area in the late 1960s, Ant Farm’s work critically responded to American mass media and consumerism through performance, video, installation, and alternative architecture. Founded by artists Chip Lord and Doug Michels, the collective later included Hudson Marquez, Curtis Schreier, and Megan Williams, among others.
