Kyla Mallett

Bio:

Kyla Mallett is an artist and administrator based in Vancouver, Canada. Her work deals with the intersection of language and the social realm, utilizing pseudo-anthropological strategies of research, collecting, and archiving. She has often focused on transgressive activities in cultural arenas of adolescence, girlhood, feminism, academia, and art. Mallett is the dean in the Audain Faculty of Art, at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
