Matthew Ariaratnam

Bio:

Matthew Ariaratnam is an interdisciplinary sound artist, composer, and guitarist based on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and Səl̓ílwətaɬ First Nations (Vancouver, Canada). His practice focuses on free improvisation and also includes pop and chamber music. He curates performances as part of the 8EAST collective, and frequently collaborates with choreographers, visual artists, and theatre-makers.
