Stephen Scobie

Bio:

Stephen Scobie is a poet, critic, and scholar born in Carnoustie, Scotland, and based in Victoria, Canada. He is a founding editor of Longspoon Press, and held teaching positions at the University of Alberta and the University of Victoria. His poetry collection McAlmon’s Chinese Opera was the recipient of the 1980 Governor General’s Award.
