Bio:

Anakana Schofield is an Irish Canadian writer based in Vancouver, Canada. An award-winning novelist, Schofield’s titles include Library of Brothel (Knopf Canada, 2026), Bina: A Novel in Warnings (Knopf Canada, 2019), Martin John (Biblioasis, 2015) and Malarky (Biblioasis, 2012). Her essays and columns appear regularly in The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star, and she has written for The Guardian, The New York Times, The Irish Times, and Book Post.
