The Far East Side Band
Description:
The Far East Side Band is the trio of Asian-American musicians composer/violinist Jason Kao Hwang, kayagum/ajang player Sang-Won Park, and percussionist Yukio Tsuji. Their work pays homage to the cultural lineages of each member—China, Korea, and Japan—while shaping a shared, contemporary musical language rooted in free jazz and improvisation.
