Exhibition

Description:

This exhibition featured a collection of photographs and paper ephemera, all stemming from a mysterious package sent to Western Front. The box, originating from New York City, contained a unique assortment of postcards—100 originals created by 100 artists. Each postcard was mailed to a select group of recipients, including artists, critics, and galleries worldwide, as part of an unsolicited mail concept exhibition. The contents of the postcards were diverse, incorporating collage, expressionist painting, textual works, photography, and other mixed-media elements.
Two people peruse an installation of photographs and paper ephemera displayed in a horizontal line at eye level across three walls of a gallery. The image is in black and white.
