Description:
This concert by Peter Hannan and Henry Kucharzyk explored the possibilities of musical creation at the intersection of the acoustic and the electronic. Bringing together their many years of experience as creators and performers of new music, Hannan and Kucharzyk presented a program of solos and duets created especially for a hybrid intersection of acoustic instruments (recorder and piano) with MIDI wind and keyboard controllers. Their repertoire featured their own work alongside new creations by some of Canada’s most innovative electroacoustic composers.
