Location:

Description:

In Kent Tate’s solo exhibition The Chemical Chamber brought together various sculptural works. Stone columns bearing carved heads with piercing red eyes lined the gallery walls. At the centre of the room, a tapestry insulated with fur and suspended from a freestanding frame was positioned in front of a wishing well built from loose clay and sand. Though water was absent, the dry well held residue of blue pigment that evoked water.

Video documentation is available upon request.
