Gene Youngblood presented a lecture in the Grand Luxe Hall as part of a series of talks addressing cultural, political, and philosophical issues implied by changing communications technology and the way society is networked. To illustrate his argument, Youngblood brought together slides and videos, with a focus on the work of Mobile Image, the collaborative duo of Kit Galloway and Sherrie Rabinowitz.

The lecture was preceded by a fish dinner served to all attendees.
